Muri Night Market: Everything you need to know about this taste of paradise!

After being closed for over a year during the height of the pandemic, the reopening of the Muri Night Markets was a long-awaited celebration among locals and visiting tourists alike!

Rarotonga has some incredible local foods, drinks, vendors, and stall holders all in one buzzing evening marketplace in Muri. It is absolutely a must-do in Rarotonga and one of the highlights of any Rarotonga itinerary!

And right now, with great flights to Rarotonga from New Zealand, Australia and Hawaii the Muri Night Markets are a popular place to be – so get in early, enjoy the atmosphere and some seriously tasty treats!

When are the Muri Night Markets open? 

The night markets are open from 5:00pm (until about 8:00pm) on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday evenings.

The night markets offer an awesome variety of food.  There are food stalls, trucks, trailers and tables set up with everything from local BBQ meals, seafood, curries, pizza, desserts and more…
