Ever since our first trip to Pakistan, three visits ago, we have had the historic city of Multan on our bucketlist for travel in Pakistan. This time we made it. And we had a fantastic stay at the Ramada by Wyndham hotel in Multan.
The incredible City of Saints exceeded our expectations all round with hospitality, history and culture. It isn’t an easy city to visit independently and you do need a tour guide and escort. But here is how we did it and how our hotel in Multan made our stay extra memorable.

Arrival, welcome and checking in at the Ramada Multan
One of the first things we noticed was the great welcome to Multan. We arrived in the early afternoon to Multan after a lengthy drive from Lahore in the morning.
The first welcome to the hotel is very secure with checks and automatic gates into the main entrance with a spacious drive through arrival entrance to the hotel.
It was lovely to have our bags taken care of. There is security and a doorman on the entrance as well as concierge to take the bags inside.
We entered to the main lobby and were greeted with a refreshing welcome fruit drink. (It was July and very hot in Punjab, so this was extra-appreciated!). And with the welcome drink we were also given beautifully presented Multani mango tarts.
The mangoes are famous in Multan. We had been talking about mangoes on the drive and hoping to try some during our stay. So it was a great added highlight to be given some to try as soon as we arrived. (Multani mangoes are uber-delicious, by the way!).
The check in and documentation was a smooth experience and the staff in reception were professional and personable.
We were shown up to our rooms where our bags were already waiting and they had also left more treats and especially iced cakes with our names on! The extra personable touch was much appreciated after months of much less-personal South Asia accommodation experiences…
The room – Ramada by Wyndham in Multan
We stayed in an Executive Suite.
Our room was extremely plush and comfortable and had a large double bed and a single bed too. The staff were very helpful setting up an extra bed for the kids too.
The Executive Suite has a desk area and lounge seating area with two large comfortable chairs.
There is a fully stocked minibar and complimentary tea, coffee, sugar and drinking water bottles.

The bathroom – Ramada by Wyndham hotel in Multan
The bathroom was another standout feature of our room. (If you know, you know!). We’ve been traveling in South Asia for many months and have come to appreciate a great bathroom and shower.
The bathroom is huge by hotel standards. And, at risk of sounding far too much like a backpacker in mentioning this, the shower is outstanding. It’s a full, walk in shower with fantastic pressure and beautifully hot water.
The toilet, shower and sink area was immaculately clean. And although we don’t use the single-use toiletries as we pack prepared for South Asia and carry our own, there are complimentary toiletries including a shaving and dental kit.
The food – Ramada by Wyndham hotel in Multan
The Ramada hotel in Multan has an all-round incredible dining experience.
We love street food all around South Asia, and especially look forward to trying new foods in Pakistan every time we visit. But as adventurous as that sounds food-wise, the food inhouse at the Ramada was excellent too.
There was something magnificently comforting about arriving at the Ramada hotel in Multan and spotting the amazing set up of the inhouse restaurant – Buzz 76 – just beyond the main foyer entrance.
The restaurant is stunning, and the food is the kind of experience that makes us reluctant to eat elsewhere at risk of missing out!
In fact, the Ramada hotel in Multan has three inhouse dining options:

What about breakfast? Is breakfast included with accommodation at the Ramada by Wyndham, Multan?
The breakfast is also AMAZING.
Most of the accommodation options at the Ramada by Wyndham in Multan come with breakfast included. And from our experience, definitely accept that breakfast. The buffet breakfast spread is one of the best we’ve ever come across!
We visited Multan in July and happened to time our trip with the Pakistan mango season. Each morning at breakfast the chefs had a fruit station where they cut mangoes to order, and you can try different types of Multani and Pakistani mangoes.
The staff – Ramada by Wyndham hotel in Multan
Wherever we travel in the world we are amazed by the incredible sights and history. But there is nothing that can compare to the people. For us, it is the people that make a destination particularly memorable.
The staff at the Ramada hotel in Multan are fantastic. They are respectful and extremely welcoming, and they went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay in Multan. The staff in the reception spoke English well. And all the wait staff and chefs in the restaurant were friendly and personable, with service that was noticeably great.

No! The only thing we didn’t like was that we didn’t have the time to stay longer. The Ramada is a very comfortable hotel in Multan and is centrally located and very safe feeling.

Aside from possibly a larger room with twin beds for the kids, the only downside we can think of is that we couldn’t’ stay longer!
